This site is two things.  First, it is evolving into a tribute to the life of Christian White, who was beloved of his friends and family. Although his life was short, he touched the lives of very many people.  Second, it is an attempt to raise money to continue ground-breaking research into the causes of glioblastoma multiforme.  Brain tumors account for four in ten cancer deaths of people under 40, yet only attract 2% of the country's total cancer research funding.  Christian was diagnosed early, and his palliative care was superb.  But the aetiology of his kind of tumor is only dimly understood.  We are in discussion with the Brain Tumor Charity as to how we best hypothecate his Memorial Fund to precisely this line of work and we will update this website as we gather more information on the successful research bid.
